Favorite moment from Cat Tien

After I went from Cat Tien, one of my best favorite moment when I was in Cat Tien is when me, Aeris, Michael, Tommy and Mr. Tim were riding on a bus that we call The Michael Bus. When we were heading back to Cat Tien from Ta Lai village, we said “Hi” to everything, even trees and especially human. We said “Hi Michael!!” to people there, some of them waved back, some of them looked at us surprised, and it was so funny and hilarious. There are people that say “Hey Michael!” back, and the funniest part is there was a kid holding a giant bamboo stick as tall as Mr. Blake, looked a us with a questioning face or angry face I’m not quite sure as we go on say “Hey Michael!!” to everyone. Mr. Tim enjoy the fun as well, when we were going through a bumpy road, we are all going like “Ahhh~ Ohh~” so our voice would shake. We called the bird “Michelle”. We called the flowers “hermaphromike” instead of “hermaphrodite” When we got back to Cat Tien, our hair were all standing up because of the wind. So that was my favorite moment when I was Cat Tien, I hope I can go to Cat Tien with my friends again.

EVALUATION

Explain how you used the principles of design in your digital poster. Use specific "descriptive" words in your explanation.

White Space:

I tried to cover in all the white spaces with pictures and text. But I also think that I should leave some space for the people to read what I’m reading on my poster. It will look more “attractive” in white background. 

Focal Point:

I made the title with the biggest font and made it more interesting by adding a curve line under it. First I used Word Art from Microsoft Office to create the title, then I copy it back to power point slide or paint. Then I can decorated and move it around.

Fantastic Fonts:

For different text and information, I use different font, size and color for people to see it easier. Also it will be more lively and active, so there will not be just black and white when people look at the poster. Especially for the discount information and contact details, I made them really big go the customers can just focus on it.

Display Balance:

At the top, I put 2 pictures at each side, because it will be more balance. And then goes down, left side are pictures and right side are texts. People will see them more balance at the middle of the poster. At the end, where I think we can put a lot of stuff down there, I put my logo, and 2 more pictures.

Simple is nice:

White background, different text font, color and size with informations and simple picture is the most simple thing I put on my poster. I don’t use any decorated pictures and simple such as “” or a heart because it’s really complicated and people probably will get a wrong idea about my park. My idea of the poster is “Simple but fantastic”

Color Correctly:

When we said “Vanilla Hills” the color yellow, brown or green comes to people mind right a way. So I choose green, yellow and a little brown on the text for my poster. I don’t use any red color except for the discount information because it’s important. Actually for me, the color yellow pop up in my mind when I first hear “Vanilla Hills” so I take that idea to color my poster.
